Any Mac users out there who want a free Office Suite? I thoroughly recommend NeoOffice - the Mac native version of OpenOffice.org.

I'd been using version 1 for a while on OSX 10.3 and, while better than running OpenOffice.org in X11, it was still somewhat lacking. A few months ago NeoOffice 2 Alpha was released which was based on OpenOffice.org 2 and was generally a major improvement. That said, it took rather a long time to open - over a minute! Well, NeoOffice 2.0 Aqua Beta 3 (first release using native widgets) was released the other day and start up time is now down to 22 seconds on my machine. This is a significant improvement and the whole release, from the splash screen onwards, feels very professional. Serious congratulation to the developers!!
